Tabor City Baptist Church is committed to having inspiring worship as we celebrate who God is and what He has done. We do this by expressing our love and devotion to God in spirit and truth through our praise and through the proclamation of the Word of God.

Believing that worship is our highest priority, and that Tabor City Baptist Church is a local expression of the family of God – we strongly encourage people of all ages and of all backgrounds to worship together as the people of God.

Also believing that the people of God should be united, we will seek to have corporate worship with a rich blend of musical expression. We believe that for the Christian, all of life is to be lived as an act of worship to God – and corporate worship should be a great encouragement to a life of worship and holy living. In all cases, the worship and music must glorify God and exalt Jesus Christ, and never be mere entertainment or emotionalism.

As a Christian, if you love to express your faith through music, we hope you’ll consider joining in our Worship ministries through our choirs, instrumental or vocal ensembles.

Adult Choir

The Adult Choir leads worship at our Sunday morning services. Reflective of our approach to worship, we sing a variety of musical styles and strive for excellence in all that we do (Colossians 3:23). More importantly, we are a Christian Community and our ministry and rehearsals include a focus on God’s Word, prayer, and fellowship, so that our times together are spiritually refreshing.

As the worship leading community of Tabor City Baptist Church (TCBC), the Adult Choir is comprised of followers of Jesus Christ, high school age and older, who consider TCBC their church home. The Adult Choir rehearses in the choir room on Wednesdays at 6:30 PM.

Soloists and small vocal team members are also regularly used in our Sunday services. These groups are selected almost exclusively from within the Choir.
